Do you charge for a quote?

No. The quote is free and there's no obligation. We come out, look the roof over and tell you where you stand — it costs nothing to ask.

I'm not sure if it's the roof or something else. Is that a problem?

No — that's Alan's job to work out. A damp patch can come from the roof, the flashing or the gutters. Tell him what you're seeing and he'll find the cause.

Can you come out for a leak?

Yes. Tell him what's happening and he'll come and look. He finds where the water's actually getting in and fixes it properly so it stays dry.

Can you re-roof an older house?

Yes — re-roofing is a big part of what he does. The old covering comes off, the timbers get checked, and the roof is rebuilt and made watertight.
